The DNA & eDNA Training Workshop: Advancing Tropical Marine Biodiversity Monitoring in Malaysia introduces participants to modern molecular tools for marine ecosystem assessment. The workshop provides practical training in DNA and environmental DNA (eDNA) sampling, laboratory workflows, and data interpretation for biodiversity monitoring and conservation applications.
Led by Bongkeun Song from the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, this hands-on program equips researchers, students, and practitioners with skills to apply genetic techniques in tropical marine monitoring and ecosystem management.
