World Oceans Day, observed annually on 8 June, highlights the importance of oceans in sustaining life and promotes global responsibility for marine conservation. In conjunction with this celebration, Project Ocean Hope supported a science communication initiative to improve public access to marine science knowledge in Malaysia.

In collaboration with Majalah Sains and academic staff from UMT, 11 Malay-language marine science articles were published.
