RHB Islamic Bank Berhad Initiative | MITEC Kuala Lumpur | Sea Turtle Research Unit (SEATRU)

Ocean Hope, under the initiative of RHB Islamic Bank Berhad, participated as an exhibitor at the Malaysia International Dive Expo (MIDE) 2025, held from 13 to 15 May 2025 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur, jointly showcasing marine conservation efforts with Ocean Hope and the Sea Turtle Research Unit (SEATRU) at the RHB booth.

Kembara Bakau

Seascape Explorer Initiative | Wetland School of Setiu | Coastal Stewardship

The Kembara Bakau , under the Seascape Explorer: Dive into Adventure with Ocean Hope initiative, was held on 11 October 2025 at Wetland School of Setiu, Terengganu, in collaboration with a partner NGO. The programme provided hands-on learning for students while offering UMT students practical exposure to edu-tourism implementation, community engagement, and environmental education, supporting Ocean Hope's mission in conservation awareness and sustainable coastal stewardship.

OBJECTIVE:

TO INTRODUCE STUDENTS TO MANGROVE AND ESTUARINE ECOSYSTEMS.
