OCEAN HOPE: SCHOOL TOUR 2019

The “OCEAN HOPE: SCHOOL TOUR 2019” program is an initiative from the students in Bachelors’ Degree (Marine Biology) to spread awareness on marine life conservation. The program was dedicated to create and increase the understanding of the marine environment among local school students and public to help conserve the marine life and its habitat.

The “OCEAN HOPE: SCHOOL TOUR 2019” program aims to:
  1. Create awareness and knowledge about the importance to conserve marine life and the sustainable use of marine resources for a long period of time.
  2. Give exposure on the marine life and the importance of marine ecosystem to the Earth.
  3. Encourage the participation and instill responsibility among the school students to reduce marine debris that give negative impact to the marine life.
  4. Promote a beneficial solution that focuses on the importance of conservation and sustainability of marine life.
  5. Instill teamwork skills and tolerance among the Marine Biology students while conducting the program.
  6. Give opportunity to the students of Marine Biology to gain and share their knowledges.
  7. Achieve the objective of Marina Club to give exposure to the public regarding environmental and marine life issues while promoting the Marine Biology program.
