Malaysia’s involvement with other countries in the UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) is one of the country’s effort to support the aspirations of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030) and is the best step in voicing ocean sustainability issues and challenges at the national level towards the global level.
