The Ocean Hope promotes the spread of awareness on ocean literacy through forum on challenging contents. Diverse support for the forum at which the audience, scientists of varying background and non-government organizations (NGO) gather to enhance their knowledge and share insights of the current marine issues.
Project Ocean Hope School Tour aims to engage with the younger audience – primary and secondary schools – to create awareness and enhance understanding of the importance to conserve marine life and its habitat. We believe that youth can play an active role in marine life conservation among other issues.
Led by Marine Biology bachelor’s degree students under Marina club, a beach clean-up program has been held on 7th January of 2022 located on UMT’s beach. This energetic event was committed to raise awareness among youngsters about sustaining a clean environment, as well as reducing damage done on our surrounding nature.
Held by Marina Club for the third-year students on 10th December 2022. This workshop was held to expose third year students to good resume writing tehniques and prepare themselves to face life in the outside world after graduating.
